2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Basantpur (Lakdi Nabiganj O.P.) P.S. Case No. 599 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 87, 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution story, informant's daughter was sleeping on the roof. When informant woke up in the morning, her daughter was missing. As per allegation, all the FIR named accused persons including the petitioner are said to have abducted the informant's daughter.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the statement of the informant's

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49763 of 2025(2) dt.22-08-2025 2/2 daughter was recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS in which she has not supported the prosecution case. It is further submitted that the informant himself has stated in his fardbeyan that the age of the victim is 18 years. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances and clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-1st, Siwan in connection with Basantpur (Lakdi Nabiganj O.P.) P.S. Case No. 599 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS, 2023. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) priyanka/- U T
