1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maranchi P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 365 of the Indian Penal Code in which subsequently section 302 of the IPC was also added.

3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased went missing. One dead body in a decomposed state was recovered. The same was sent for DNA test and the body has been found to be of the deceased. During investigation, the petitioner and other co-accused were arrested.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. It has come during investigation that the petitioner,

The petitioner in his self inculpatory statement as well as the other co-accused have said that they have killed the deceased. The petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2024.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this application is dismissed.
