JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-11-2022 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Circle Officer, Gaunaha, District-West Champaran i.e. the respondent no. 5 to conclude the proceedings of the pending Encroachment Case No. 04 of 2016-17. The learned counsel for the respondent State submits that in case the aforesaid encroachment case is still pending, the respondent no. 5 shall dispose off the same, within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Circle Officer, Gaunaha, District-West Champaran i.e. the respondent no. 5 to dispose off the pending

Patna High Court CWJC No.18461 of 2021(2) dt.03-11-2022 2/2 Encroachment Case No. 04 of 2016-17 by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of 12 weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
