JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-07-2015 The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kusheswar Asthan Police Station Case No. 135 of 2014 for the offences instituted under Sections 304B/201 of the I.P.C. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Prosecution case, in short, is that daughter of the informant was married with accused Sunil Chaupal one and half years ago and after marriage the daughter of the informant was residing in her matrimonial house, but subsequently, accused persons including the petitioner started torturing and assaulting her due to non-fulfilment of demand of Rs.50,000/- as dowry and ultimately she was killed by the accused persons including the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. He is separate in mess

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22957 of 2015 (2) dt.31-07-2015 2/2 and property.

On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Kusheswar Asthan P.S. Case No. 135 of 2014 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Darbhanga, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
