The petitioner seeks bail in Sidhwalia P.S. Case No. 91 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. She is in custody since 16.05.2018. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that husband of the deceased is already in custody. Counsel for the informant has appeared and submitted that death has occurred within two months of the marriage of the deceased.
From the written report it appears that there is no
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53701 of 2018 (2) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 allegation of any specific overt act against the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Gopalganj, in connection with Sidhwalia P.S.
