The petitioner is in custody in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 280 of 2018 for the offenses under Section 272 and 273 IPC and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Only on account of suspicion the petitioner has been roped in the instant case. The alleged recovery of liquor was from the open field and nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 22.7.2018.
