2. From the pleadings on record, it appears that the admitted dues of the petitioner have been paid. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in another writ, during the pendency of the present writ, he has been allowed promotion by the Court, which has also been implemented by the University and, thus, now payments have to be made in the revised scale in terms of such promotion.

3. Be that as it may, since the same is a fresh cause of action and that too for an event which has taken place subsequent to the filing of the writ application, the Court would only observe that in terms of the promotion granted, it is for the University to pass consequential orders and make payments, as may be required in law.
4. The writ petition stands disposed off.
