JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 25-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A, 26, 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner does have criminal antecedent of near about 20 cases. The trial of the petitioner has already commenced. Therefore, considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to release him on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 192 of 2016 arising out of Sri Krishnapuri P.S. Case No. 222 of 2015 pending in the court of 9th Additional Sessions Judge, Patna stands rejected.

No.37064 of 2016 (3) dt.25-10-2016 2/2 However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail before the trial court itself.
