2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, petitioner, is alleged to have killed informant's daughter by strangulation with the help of co-accused Raj Kumar Pandit. It is further alleged that petitioner took away ornaments of the deceased. Earlier also, petitioner used to assault the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is husband of the deceased. Marriage had taken place 20 years back and they were blessed with two sons. Informant is not eye witness of the occurrence. Charges have also been framed in the case and trial is pending for recording of evidence of prosecution witnesses. Petitioner is in custody since

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of this petitioner is rejected. Let the trial be expedited and concluded within a year.
