2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable in connection with NTPC P.S. Case No.153 of 2024 under Sections 191(2),191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 303(2), 308(3), 308(5), 329(3), 352 and 351(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with section 27 of the Arms Act pending before the court of A.C.J.M.-I, Barh.

3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against 8 named accused persons including the petitioner against whom there is allegation of demanding ransom from the informant, who is employee of NTPC and also allegation of assault against them.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52241 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/3 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the petitioner is a student and his entire career shall be in problem.

5. Learned Counsel also submits that antecedent of the petitioner is clean and one of the co-accused, namely Saurabh Kumar has been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 30.07.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No.46876 of 2025.

6. Counsel further submits that case diary may be called for.

7. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the action is repeated as alleged in the FIR. and demand of ransom is also there.

8. Counsel further submits that it has also been alleged that they have snatched Samsung mobile of informant and NTPC gate pass and subsequently, he returned from police station then again all accused persons came to the house of the informant and threatened him.

9. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, therefore the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

10. However, trial court is directed to consider the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52241 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 3/3 regular bail application of the petitioner, if he surrenders within 6 weeks from today and prays for regular bail, then trial court shall pass order without being prejudice of the present order preferably on the same day.
