The petitioner and other accused are said to have assaulted the injured by means of different weapons. So far as petitioner is concerned, he is said to have given one sword blow causing injury on the left ear of the injured but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the injury found on the right ear of the injured is said to have been caused by hard and blunt substance as per his injury report. No doubt the injured sustained five injuries and some injuries were found grievous in nature but according to the prosecution case itself, the alleged occurrence took place on account of land dispute and the petitioner is in jail custody since 02.06.2016 and the investigation against him has already been completed.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33653 of 2016 (3) dt.17-10-2016 2/2 Accordingly, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Siwan in connection with Goreyakothi P.S.Case No.66 of 2016.
