JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 26-09-2016 Heard the Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner is the Non-governmental Organisation registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926 and works for the upliftment of the unskilled labour coming from lowest strata of the society. The writ application prays for a direction to provide due recognition and support to it by the State authorities at the district level in discharge of its duties according to the bye-laws. The respondents have filed a counter affidavit. In paragraph nos. 7 to 12 thereof, it is stated that the role assigned to

The Counsel for the State, on the basis of statements made therein, submitted that the State authority would give support to such association/organization save and except the financial aid which has to be afforded only in accordance with the policy decision/resolution of the State Government.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the writ application does not seek a direction to give financial support to the petitioner association.

In view of the stand taken by both parties, no further order is required to be passed in the present proceeding. The writ application is disposed of.
