JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 20-09-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mainatand (Mainatar) P.S. Case No. 51 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 414 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 28.04.2018. The petitioner is purchaser of the vehicle for value consideration without knowledge that the vehicle was stolen vehicle. He relied upon the documents shown by the seller Vikash Singh and on the basis of the same, on payment of consideration amount, the vehicle was purchased. He submits that he has not verified the documents whether it was genuine or not before

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for nearly five months, let the petitioner named above is directed to be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Mainatand (Mainatar) P.S.
