The petitioner seeks bail in Barachatti P.S. case No. 171 of 2014 under Section 18, 20, 22 of N.D.P.S. Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer of petitioner for bail was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 08.04.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8334 of 2015 with a direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within one year from the date of receipt of the order but the trial has not yet been concluded.

It appears that 46 kg. Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that commercial quantity of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28600 of 2016 (2) dt.30-11-2016 2/2 inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial is in progress. The learned trial Judge is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the date of receipt of this order.
