The petitioner is an accused in connection with Khagaria (Chitragupta Nagar) P.S. Case No. 411 of 2023 registered for the offences under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 20.04.2023 by the informant, Manish Kumar. As per the prosecution story, after withdrawing Rs. 1,25,000/- from the State Bank of India, Khagaria Main Branch, as the informant was returning alongwith his wife, the two accused persons came, snatched the bag and escaped. The informant immediately rushed to the police station who were able to apprehend both the accused persons near Koshi College, the petitioner being one of them. The looted money was also recovered. Accordingly, the FIR.

No.52309 of 2023(2) dt.19-08-2023 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioner was arrested with the money which was looted from the informant/his wife who had withdrawn the amount for their fruitful purposes, for the present, this Court is not inclined to extend him privilege of bail, which is accordingly rejected.
