The petitioners are in custody in connection with Bypass P.S. Case No. 244 of 2017 for the offence registered under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case was registered unknown. The name of the petitioner and others surfaced on the extra judicial confession made by the miscreants arrested in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 268 of 2017. A co-ordinate Bench of this Court examined the case of Uttam Haldar by the calling the case diary and the Court noted that the victim was not interested to participate in the TIP. No. 52851 of 2018, let the petitioner named above is directed to be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.- IV, Patna City, in connection with Bypass P.S. Case No. 244 of 2017.
