Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, at the outset, submits that an appeal has been filed against the order impugned in the instant writ application, which is pending adjudication before the District Magistrate, Gaya being Demand Cancellation Appeal No. 14 of 2022.

The learned senior counsel thus submits that petitioners would be satisfied in the event if the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate to decide the aforesaid appeal within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents and the State does not have any objection to the said submission made by the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners.

The Court, without going into the merits of the case, disposes of the writ application with a direction to the District Magistrate, Gaya to decide the Demand Cancellation Appeal No. 14 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
