The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No.148 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 323, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation that the petitioners and others mercilessly assaulted the son of the informant as a result of which he died in course of treatment, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail.

Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57503 of 2018 (2) dt.28-09-2018 2/2 bail to the petitioners is rejected.

In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
