JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 28-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual court proceedings. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.08.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation is of recovery of 10 litres of liquor from the house of petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was living in a joint house family and as such was not

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 18.08.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and alleged recovery is of 10 litres of liquor, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Gaya in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021.
