The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 163 of 2018 dated 04.04.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 307 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27 of the Arms Act.

One country made pistol with five live cartridges and one empty cartridge have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has been alleged in the FIR that while the petitioner was being arrested, he also opened fire.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and the allegation of firing is absolutely

Considering the aforesaid facts as also the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 06.04.2018, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 163 of 2018.
