JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-01-2023 The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that Jamabandi pertaining to the land purchased by him, is not being opened by the Circle Officer, Chhatapur. During pendency of the Jamabandi Case the petitioner approached the Additional Collector, Supaul, who directed the petitioner to approach the competent authority for opening of Jamabandi. Mr. Mukul Prasad, learned counsel for the State submits that the D.C.L.R. is the competent authority for opening / reconstruction of Jamabandi.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has not approached the D.C.L.R., Supaul as yet, the writ application is disposed with a direction to the petitioner to approach the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13856 of 2022(3) dt.18-01-2023 2/2 competent authority for opening / reconstruction of the Jamabandi in accordance with law.
