Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 153 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 30(a), 32(ii), 37(b), 38(ii) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a milkman and only because he did not meet the demand of 5 liters of milk of the informant, he has been falsely implicated in the present case. Petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle in question from where the alleged recovery has been made. Petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and is in custody since 22.07.2018. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56306 of 2018(2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 153 of 2018.
