JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-11-2024 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned APP for the State; Shri Shyam Kumar Singh and the learned counsel for the informant; Shri Satish Chandra.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 688 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is the husband of the deceased who is custody since 21.12.2023. He is accused of killing the deceased. Post Mortem report supports the prosecution case.

4. Considering the serious allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

5. The court below is directed to frame the charges at

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56531 of 2024(4) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 the earliest so that the trial is not delayed.

6. The learned counsel for the informant gives undertaking in the court that he will cooperate in the trial and will not delay the trial. In case the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner has liberty to file a fresh bail application.
