The petitioner seeks bail in Ramnagar case No. 109 of 2016 under Section 354 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 8 of POCSO Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have entered into the house of informant with bad intention and tried to outrage the modesty of the daughter of informant. The petitioner assaulted the daughter of the informant with dagger.

It is submitted that there is counter version. The petitioner is in jail for seven months.

The learned counsel for the informant as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer for bail.

No.39882 of 2016 (3) dt.01-12-2016 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is in jail since 03.05.2016 and he has already remained in jail for seven months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, POCSO, in Ramnagar P.S.
