=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 17-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; State and L. N. Mithila University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').

2. Pursuant to order dated 14.05.2018, the respondent no. 4 is present in Court and has filed show cause in which the stand is that the claim of the petitioner, to the extent admissible, has been dealt with and after proper accounting, cheque has also been prepared with regard to arrears and difference of pension. The same has been handed over in the Court by learned counsel for the University to learned counsel for the petitioner. However, with regard to arrears of salary, the stand is that cheque has been prepared in the name of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7236 of 2017 dt.17-05-2018 2/2 principal of the College and sent to him, who is required to pay the amount to the petitioner. The respondent no. 4, who is present in Court, and learned counsel for the University have assured the Court that such payment to the petitioner shall also be made within two weeks.

3. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition having served its purpose, stands disposed off with a direction that the amount of arrears of salary be credited into the account of the petitioner within two weeks positively.

4. Personal appearance of the respondent no. 4 stands dispensed with.

5. If the petitioner is still aggrieved by any non-payment or less-payment, it shall be open to him to file representation before the Registrar of the University.
