1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.
2. Though the present petition is by way of second attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Sugauli (East Champaran) P.S. Case No.212 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 342, 366 and 376(D)/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 of the POCSO Act and Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7(ii)(c) of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, but the learned counsel for the petitioner has, at the outset, submitted that directions be issued to expedite the trial and in case there is no substantial progress in the ongoing trial, the petitioner be

3. Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the learned trial Court to expedite the trial and make endeavors to conclude the same, within a period of one year from today, nonetheless, in case there is no substantial progress in the ongoing trial, ever after a lapse of one year from today, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
4. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
