The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.06.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

Allegation is of recovery of one country-made pistol along with cartridges from the possession of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. Nothing was recovered from his possession and even assuming

No.62383 of 2021(2) dt.23-03-2022 2/2 what has been alleged is true without admitting for the purposes of bail, then the thrust of allegation is under the Arms Act and petitioner has remained in custody for nearly nine months. The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Dandkhora P. S. Case No.36 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
