JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 22-09-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that her application for grant of licence for pistol in her favour is pending since 31.01.2010 before the authority in complete violation of the directive of the Central Government and the State Government to take a decision in the matter within 30 days from the receipt of the report of the Superintendent of Police, whereas Superintendents of Police has to submit such report within 45 days. It is further contended that the petitioner is a lady and three brothers of her husband have been killed by the extremists and in this regard first information report has already been lodged.

Let a decision be taken within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order considering that petitioner is a lady and her claims that there is threat perception upon her.
