JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-09-2019 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chapra Town P. S. Case No. 514 of 2017, registered for the offences under Sections 302, 34 of IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Earlier prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 28.09.2018, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 57968 of 2018.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he was lastly seen with the deceased and apart from that he is an accused in five other cases.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody for about one and half year and the charge has already been framed against him.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50604 of 2019(3) dt.04-09-2019 2/2 bail of the petitioner.

Having heard both sides, in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. As the charge has been framed against the petitioner, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
