2. This writ petition has been filed claiming arrear of enhanced salary as B.A. trained teacher's scale from 23.05.2000 till the date of petitioner's retirement on 31.03.2008. Also for a direction to give 24 years benefit to the petitioner along with enhanced pension; revise pay scale of the petitioner on the basis of time bound promotion and A.C.P. benefit from the date of joining.

3. The petitioner states to have retired on 31.03.2008 and the writ petition has been filed in the year 2022.

4. Since this writ petition has been filed in the year 2022 by the petitioner, who has retired from service as back as on 31.03.2008 claiming B.A. trained teacher's scale from 23.05.2000, I am of the view that there has been an inordinate delay in filing the writ petition by the petitioner seeking to enforce right of the petitioner, which the petitioner states that the same has accrued to him in the year 2000.

5. Under the circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
