JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-01-2020 In compliance of the order of this Court dated 24.04.2019 passed in CWJC No. 8901 of 2019, the contemnors have granted promotion to the petitioner with effect from 01.01.2004 vide letter dated 24.08.2019 issued by the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Buxar and thereafter the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna has fixed the pension of the petitioner at Rs. 24,500/- per month and the revised pension slip has already been sent to the Treasury Officer, Buxar. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not getting the revised pension at

Patna High Court MJC No.2853 of 2019(4) dt.29-01-2020 2/2 the rate of Rs. 24,500/- which is required to be paid with effect from 01.04.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and upon hearing the parties, this Court is of the view that the order of this Court has been substantially complied with, however, I direct the District Education Officer, Buxar and the District Programme Officer, (Establishment), Buxar to ensure payment of the arrears of pensionary benefits as also pension on the revised basis, within a period of four weeks from today, if not already paid to the petitioner herein, failing which they shall not draw their salary.
