The petitioner is accused in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 26 of 2016, registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that informant was demanded ransom from mobile No. 7739517360 by unknown miscreant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation it has come that the mobile No.7739517360 belonged to one Shambhu Singh, uncle of the petitioner, who disclosed the name of the petitioner being user of the said mobile. Further submission is that, in fact, Shambhu Singh disclosed the name of the petitioner due to land dispute. Further submission is that petitioner having no criminal
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29111 of 2016 (2) dt.20-07-2016 2/2 antecedent except Sheohar (SC and ST) P.S. Case No. 32 of 2015, which was instituted in respect to land dispute. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2016 and Chargesheet has already been submitted.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S.
