Mr. APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-01-2022 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Allauli P.S. Case No. 315/2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 448, 323, 354, 379 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is of having misbehaved with the informant in a drunken state and also of snatching her personal belongings.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation is false and he has been implicated because of his being a Ward Counsellor.

None of these grounds weigh with this Court for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in view of the nature of accusation levelled against him specially when he is the Ward Counsellor.
