The present petition has been filed with a prayer to initiate contempt proceeding on an allegation of disobedience to an order dated 20-06-2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 7113 of 2011. In this case, after filing of the petition, show-cause were earlier filed. It was submitted that the order of the writ court has been complied with and arrears amount with interest has already been paid.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that interest has incorrectly been calculated and the authority concerned has not complied with the first part of the order,

Patna High Court MJC No.155 of 2017(8) dt.23-01-2019 2/2 whereby Annexure -1 to the writ petition was quashed by this Court.

However, after going through the material on record as well as facts disclosed in the show-cause, I am of the opinion that the order of the writ court has already been complied with. Even if, the petitioner is aggrieved on other points or regarding calculation of interest, he would be at liberty to approach the competent authority.

The contempt petition stands disposed of.
