In the present case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Asthawan P.S. Case No. 177 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363 and 365 the Indian Penal Code and later on Section 364/120 (B) IPC was added.

In the present case, the allegation against the petitioner is to have killed his wife Mamta Devi and his daughter Neha Kumari and during investigation, the police has found that the petitioner along with one Vickey Kumar killed the victim lady along with her daughter, put the dead body in the gunny bag and threw the same in the river.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9647 of 2021(2) dt.24-02-2021 2/2 Earlier, the petitioner had moved for grant of bail before this Court, which was rejected by this Court vide order dated 18.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9653 of 2020. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner again.
