Petitioners seek bail in connection with Khajekala P.S. Case No. 212 of 2016 registered under Sections- 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioners, who are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased, is of torture and assault due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry which ultimately led to her death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that deceased herself committed suicide, as per the suicide note. It is further submitted that nothing has been mentioned against these petitioners. Petitioners are in custody since 23.08.2016.
