Learned counsel for both the parties submit that both the parties have amicably agreed for an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- (three lac fifty thousand) to settle the dispute regarding arrears of maintenance allowance, in five equal installments within a year, arising out of order dated 12.10.2022 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai. It is further submitted that both parties have settled the dispute amicably regarding quantum of maintenance amount i.e. Rs.5,000/- per month from the first week of May, 2026.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay monthly maintenance amount of Rs.5,000/- from the first week of May, 2026 regularly in the account of opposite party, namely, Ranju Bharti.

4. Learned counsel for opposite party does not controvert the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.556 of 2023(12) dt.15-04-2026 2/2 for the petitioner as both parties have settled their dispute amicably regarding the quantum of maintenance and they do not want to pursue the matter further.

In the light of aforesaid amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, without going into the merit of the case, the order dated 12.10.2022, passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai by which the petitioner/respondent has been directed to pay Rs. 7,000/- by the 5th day of the month to the respondent/applicant towards monthly maintenance is modified to the extent that petitioner shall now pay Rs.5,000/- from the first week of May, 2026 regularly in the account of opposite party, namely, Ranju Bharti.

6. Accordingly, the present revision petition stands disposed of. However, both parties shall be at liberty to take recourse of law for execution of the order of maintenance.

7. Interlocutory application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.

8. Let this order be communicated to the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Begusarai in connection with Maintenance Case No. 74/2012 / CIS No.511/2013. (Alok Kumar Pandey, J) amitkumar/ K.C.Jha U T
