2. This is second anticipatory bail petition. Earlier, the petition, filed for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of petitioner, stood dismissed for default vide order dated 18.1.2023, passed in Cr.Mis.No. 1970/2023. Petitioner is alleged to have inflicted injury on the head of the informant.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the injury caused by the petitioner was simple in nature.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that no fresh ground has been pressed by the petitioner for grant of privilege of pre-arrest bail.

5. In the facts of the case as well as in view of the recent judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of G.R. Ananda Babu Vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Anr reported

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60281 of 2023(3) dt.06-10-2023 2/2 in 2021 SCC OnLine SC 176, the second anticipatory bail on behalf of the petitioner is not maintainable. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
