The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chausa Police Station Case No. 280 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under sections 366, 323 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant is the father of victim. He has alleged that this petitioner with the help of co-accused abducted his daughter with intention to marry with her or to sell her. It has been submitted that the daughter of informant was married with this petitioner and she is living happily in the house of the petitioner. In joint petition filed by petitioner and victim, it is stated that she voluntarily married with the petitioner in presence of well wisher and affidavits no. 140 and 141 were sworn by both of them on 11.02.2016.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58946 of 2018 (2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed and he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Uda-Kishunganj, Madhepura in connection with Chausa Police Station Case No. 280 of 2017, subject to the following conditions:- (i) One of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the concerned Court.

(ii) The petitioner will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence.

(iii) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
