2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection withAndhrathari P.S. Case No. 148 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 342, 323, 307, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that on 17.10.2023 altercation between children took place while she was cooking. The accused-petitioners abused and assaulted her by fists and slaps and later she was assaulted by Khanti also. As a result of which, she sustained injury and later during the course of treatment, she died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in connection with the present case actually, petitioner no. 1, is 'dewar' of the informant. It is further submitted that from a bare perusal of the post-mortem report and viscera report, it appears that the informant died due to some disease.

5. Learned counsel for the State submits that there is sufficient materials in the case diary which shows that the informant died due to assault caused by the petitioners.

6. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
