The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Inarwa P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018 registered under Section 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 386, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is of demanding ransom by 36 persons named in the F.I.R. including the petitioner from the informant to allow him to cut the sugarcane crops and they also assaulted him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. along with 35 others but no specific overt act has been attributed against him. It is

No.48502 of 2019(2) dt.05-08-2019 2/2 further submitted that co-accused, Jagdish Ram, has already been granted privilege of pre-arrest bail by this Court vide order dated 21.12.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 74259 of 2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. Ist Class, Narkatiaganj, West Champaran, in connection with Inarwa P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
