The petitioner seeks bail in Bakhtiyarpur P.S. case No. 143 of 2018 registered under Section 341, 323, 354, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant is father of the deceased. The informant alleged that his daughter was married to Roshan Singh in the year 2008 and she was living with her husband and children in Saharsa. The informant got information that on 12.04.2018 his son-in-law brutally assaulted his daughter but did not get her treated. Consequently, his daughter died. Later on her dead body was brought to the village and her husband with the help of his family members hurriedly cremated the dead body.

No allegation of assault is made against the petitioner. The deceased was living with her husband and her husband is alleged to have brutally assaulted her. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. case No. 143 of 2018.
