The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of the E.C. Act.

The petitioner is the owner of the seized pick-up van, bearing registration no. BR1 1L-6481. It is alleged that nine quintals of rice was being carried on the aforesaid vehicle. It is suspected that the rice was loaded from the P.D.S. shop of one Md. Azhar Ali, but no shortage was found in the stock register of Md. Azhar Ali.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23390 of 2015 (2) dt.08-07-2015 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Purnia in Kasba P.S. Case No. 20/2015 (G.R. No. 483 of 2015), subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
