This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 325 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

For land dispute the petitioner and co-accused, Khedu Das, allegedly assaulted to the informant on 16.06.2016, as a result whereof the informant died on 20.07.2016 and subsequently Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been added in the first information report.

Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2016 and co-accused, Khedu Das, had already died while he was in custody.

Considering the background of the allegation and the period already undergone, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 222 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, or successor Court.
