The petitioner has been in custody since 26.07.2018 in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 142/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only on suspicion, the patrolling party intercepted the motorcycle of the petitioner and the petitioner was arrested in connection with the recovery of certain liquor from the car in which the petitioner was travelling. It is further submitted that the car which was alleged to have been coming from Jharkhand was laden with foreign liquor which have been purchased from there. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the driver of the vehicle fled away and the petitioner was taken into custody who has nothing to do

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge, Nawada, in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 142/2018. (Anjana Mishra, J) Saif/- U T
