Mr.Manoj Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-03-2022 Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Medni Chowk P.S. Case No. 55/2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363/302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is named in the self-inculpatory statement of his father of having participated in the killing of the deceased along with his family members.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on the order dated 09.08.2021 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 3760/2021 granting bail to the female members of the family and is seeking parity.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62462 of 2021(2) dt.08-03-2022 2/2 In the opinion of this Court, the petitioner cannot claim parity with the orders granting bail to the female members of the family when the petitioner is involved in the killing of the deceased along with his father.
In view of the above, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. It is, accordingly, dismissed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
