Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defect (s), as pointed out by the office, within a period of four weeks.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 496/2019 registered for the offence under Sections 364/34 of the I.P.C.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that when the informant alongwith his brother was carrying bundle of paddy crops and reached near the Dihra, in the meantime, several accused persons including the petitioner armed with pistol, kidnapped both the brothers with intention to kill them. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 28.05.2022. Charge sheet has been submitted in the present case. There is no allegation of tampering with the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. Due to village politics, the petitioner has been dragged in the present case. The boy is said to have never been abducted. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda, in connection with Harnaut P.S.
