The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Karpi P.S.Case No.137 of 2018 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. As per FIR, there is recovery of huge quantity of the liquor from a truck, the petitioner happens to be owner of the truck.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has handed over the truck to the transporter for carrying the articles , as such he was aware of the carrying of the liquor in his truck. The transporter has also filed a petition before the learned court below for release of the articles. Petitioner was not present there.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

This application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender and the laerned court below shall verify the above submission that the transporter has filed a petition for release of the articles before the learned court below and if the above submission is found to be true, the petitioner shall be released on bail in connection with Karpi P.S.Case no.137 of 2018 to the satisfaction of the learned court below otherwise the petitioner has to pray for regular bail.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
