2. The petitioner who apprehends arrest in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024 lodged on 21.04.2024, for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, the F.I.R. has been lodged against fifteen named accused persons. It is alleged that on the date of occurrence, co-accused Md. Wakil attacked the informant on the head with a knife, causing him to lose consciousness. Thereafter, he inflicted further knife blows on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52165 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/3 the back, hand, and neck of the informant. It is further alleged that the accused persons also assaulted one Md. Sakil Ali with a knife and snatched a mobile phone and 15,000/-. ₹
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. A bare reading of the F.I.R. reveals that the allegations against the petitioner are omnibus and general in nature. It is further pointed out that the date of occurrence has not been mentioned in the F.I.R., which casts doubt on the prosecution's version of events. The present case, it is submitted, is a counterblast to Belaganj P.S. Case No. 210 of 2024 lodged by one Nasima Khatoon, wife of Anwar Ansari, against the informant side. The petitioner also has clean antecedents.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

In the facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of ₹30000/- (thirty thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1) (d) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 to the satisfaction of the CJM, Gaya, in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024, subject to
