The allegation in the complaint is that the marriage was solemnized in 2016 and subsequently she was also blessed with a child but later demand of dowry was made and subsequently she was tortured which resulting into this complaint.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is father-in-law and an aged person, do not have any criminal antecedent and it is his categorical statement after filing of the present petition, he has been taken into custody and presently he is in jail.

The learned APP on the other hand opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52474 of 2022(2) dt.17-01-2023 2/2 prayer stating that there are allegation against him. Taking into account the fact that the father-in-law, do not have any criminal antecedent, the husband is in jail and ultimately he will face the trial, this Court is inclined to grant him the privilege of bail.

Let the petitioners namely be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, in connection with Complaint Case No. 723 of 2019 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
